| Mykonos is the only Greek island where you can party at any hour of the day or night.Literally at any hour, whether it's high noon and mad boozing at the beach bars, or twilight and Technicolor sunsets from the packed-out bard of "Little Venice", or evening and serious bar-crawling in the back streets of Hora, or dawn and dancing-till-you-drop around the pool at Cavo. Here sunrise means just one thing:
another day's partying is about to begin. |

If there is a king of gay people then Pierro's would be its throne! This is the bar that has made the island of Mykonos famous (so it is worth writing a bit more about it!). In 1973 the Italian-American painter Pierro Amvesa fell in love with a native of this island and opened Pierros on Matoyannia. Its balcony has hosted through all these years Velzou, Matoula, Romeao Gigli, Gianfranco Ferre, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and also many other boys that have fell in love with boys and girls that have adored girls…
It is the best known gay bar of the island and one of the most famous worldwide. Zany moods, extreme outfits and always in fashion! On the ground floor the console plays familiar hits from all the decades but particularly the 70's and 80's.People of all ages, colors, nationalities, gay and straight come to Pierro's the island's hottest club. |

Caprice # 8, Lambrou Katsoni St. # tel.: +30 22890/22177
Undoubtedly the most famous spot on Little Venice area, with the most fought over tables (reservations only) for afternoon cocktails. The fruit drinks and its famous zesty margaritas are delicious (but also very expensive).
It is the ultimate place to watch the sunset listening at the same time to mainstream music, which keeps the dance parties going well into the night. Caprice is very popular among Greek visitors. |
|
Galleraki # Little Venice # tel.: +30 22890/27188
The first place you come to on the Venice strip is Galleraki, which is open all day as a cafe-bar. Very atmospheric with a relaxed, funky and casual at the same time ambience. It gathers in the evening lot of people, who want to watch the sunset…and once the sun settles people do not; the bar gets buzzing and the console shifts smoothly from pop to reggae. |

Even today the two open air service bars of Scandinavian offer cheap drinks (6 Euro per cocktail, 4 Euro for s large glass of beer)-this means that you can drink a lot, but you have to watch it!
There you can find just about every shot imaginable make this a haven of uninhibited fun. While the name might suggest Northern European crowd, it still attracts a lot of Greek patrons. |

Blu-Blu # Old port area, next to the museum of Mykonos #
tel.: +30 22890/28771
This is the chill out cafe created by the owners of Cavo Paradiso just a few years ago. Its location offers a unique view of the old port. Choose Blu-Blu to relax listening to chill out, freestyle, ambient and electronica music. Frequently guests from abroad, but always with low beat style like Kevin Yost. It also offers an internet cafe inside (for those who cannot stay away from a pc during the vacation). The service is extra friendly and the drinks very good. |

Interni # Kalogera St. # tel.: +30 22890/26333
This is the bar situated inside the famous restaurant Interni. Since it opened two years ago it has become a must for drinks. Designed by Paola Navone, is ideal for the first drink or for those wishing to spend their night in a rather relaxing place. There you will find really good drinks (excellent selection of tequilas). A select crowd that appreciated an easy atmosphere where they can enjoy a good drink, a little conversation and, of course, see and be seen. |

La Scrapa # Little Venice
(located near the post office and the bus station) # tel.: +30 22890/23294
Best atmosphere and beat music in the area-almost freestyle- chant for black sound. It is also one of the best cocktail bars of the island…so enjoy the cocktails created by Spyros! The service is amazing and very friendly. Idyllic by night with the tables lit by lots of little candles. |

Aroma # Matoyannia # tel.: +30 22890/27148
One of the classic bars of Mykonos, located in a strategic position. It is the best observation post for keeping on an eye on who's here. Aroma has gained all these years many fans…and is one reason that after the sunset you will never be able to find a tale to sit. It is open form the morning (lots of people believe it serves the best breakfast in town) for excellent coffee (keep in mind that it does not serve the Greek frappe coffee) till late at night for refreshing cocktails. |
